It's time to start to explore triangles in more detail.  Triangles play an immense role in our mathematics understanding and you will be using them and studying them extensively in math in high school.  Some of the topics we'll get into will be familiar and some will be new to you.

Our first job is to look at the trigonometric ratios that appear in a right angle triangle.  Once we learn what those ratios are and what we call them, we will explore how to use them to solve different problems.  The next three sections all deal with the same general concept, identify sides in a ratio and use trigonometry to solve.  You'll see what I mean.

Lets now use those trig ratios and solve some problems with them.  Applications of those trig ratios and everything that we know about triangles is potentially useful to solve these problems.

Now lets look at problems that involve more than one triangle.
